flat rate fee for starting salaries of £30K or less is only
4%.
Fees
for salaries > £30K and Contract staff rates are negotiable
and can be discussed prior to any interview.
Terms
and Conditions.
1.
These Terms and Conditions of Business are between UK Civil Engineering
Ltd (hereinafter called the Company) and the person or entity purchasing
this service (hereinafter called the Client).
2.
The Service will start with the Company receiving a job description
from the Client.
3.
The Company will advertise the vacancy and manage the response.
This will include telephone or face-to-face interviews and where
appropriate, testing as part of the filtering process. The Company
will then forward a shortlist of candidate CVs to the Client, dependent
on the response to its advertising campaign.
4.
A candidate will be deemed to have been accepted by the Client when
either a telephone or a face-to-face an interview has been requested.
5.
The Client will pay a 4% commission fee for each candidate engaged,
which will be payable once the candidate has started employment
with the Client. The fee will based on the candidates basic
annual salary.
6.
All candidates accepted by the Client will remain eligible for payment
of the commission fee should the candidate be engaged for any role
within the company within a period of 12 months of the candidate
being accepted.
7.
A refund on the above fees of 50% will be made if the successful
candidate does not complete 4 weeks service. There are no other
refunds.
8.
Invoices must be paid within 14 days of the date of invoice.
9.
Any candidate testing carried out by the Company will be to its
own criteria based on its understanding of the Client and their
requirements. If the Client wishes the Company to carry out specific
testing on its behalf, an additional fee will be agreed dependent
on the work involved.
10.
The Client will advise the Company if they wish their identity to
remain confidential. The Company will assume that all other details
pertaining to the Job Description are not confidential as long as
they are used solely for the purposes of providing this Service.
11.
The Company endeavors to ensure the technical suitability of any
candidate. The Client notwithstanding shall satisfy himself as to
the suitability of any candidate and shall take up any references
provided by the candidate before engagement takes place. The Client
will also satisfy themselves that the candidate has all the necessary
qualifications, experience and work permits needed to carry out
the job, requesting evidence of proof where appropriate.
12.
The Company shall not be liable under any circumstances for any
loss, damage or expense suffered or incurred by the Client arising
from or in any way connected with the company seeking a candidate
for the Client or the introduction by the Company to the Client
of any candidate or the engagement of any applicant by the Client.
To avoid any doubt, the Company does not exclude liability for death
or personal injury arising from its own negligence.
13.
This agreement supersedes all previous agreements whether written
or verbal and can be varied only by written agreement between the
Company and the Client.
