Senior Planner / Programmer The Company: Our client is an international engineering and construction group with a reputation for technical excellence founded on more than 130 years of experience. A proven planner with extensive knowledge of scheduling software. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Working as part of the core team you will ensure that an effective logic-based programmed is prepared and maintained for all projects and will encompass: Provision if an effective preliminary planning service for projects at estimate stage. Ensure all planning documentation is prepared based on the agreed overall programme and issued to all parties concerned for each project To review, develop and update the progress of each programme on a (minimum) monthly basis with the project staff and to maintain the current project programme. Preparation of phase programmed based on overall programmes as required. Production of tender bid programmes, this will include critical path analysis, resource allocation and levelling. Integration of supplier and sub-contractor programmes together with technical interfaces. Writing and checking of methodology statements. Liaison within subcontractor on al matters relating to planning and drawings. Interpretation of specifications, computer literacy and construction technology and design management. Experience/Qualifications: 5 years fulltime planning role within Heavy Civils HNC or QBE Chartered
