British Power International is a consultancy company working mainly in the Utility Sector. We are looking for a Chartered Civil Engineer to lead a small civil engineering design and project management team in a growing engineering consultancy in Colchester Essex. Working primarily for the electricity utility sector the consultancy takes on complete project design and management of a portfolio of projects. These range from small individual sites requiring minor buildings, equipment bases and structures to be designed through to more complex complete civil design solutions requiring innovative approaches and solutions.

An innovative approach is required and commitment to timely delivery and customer satisfaction is essential alongside a good team working approach. The ideal candidate, as well as being a Chartered Civil Engineer will have some experience in utility projects, be flexible in work locations and keen to develop the Civil Engineering Team in the consultancy.

The salary will be in the range of £40 - £48k – overall package is negotiable.
