CITE is a collaborative electronic information exchange initiative for the UK construction industry. Exchange formats are provided alongside practical support. This allows the industry to move forward together. CITE avoids the need for companies to set up multiple systems by providing and fully supporting a common solution for the industry.
Practical support is available to CITE members to make it easier for businesses of all sizes to become involved. CITE is providing an increasing range of industry standards. Currently Invoices (incorporating Hire Invoice and Credit Notes), Orders, Enquiries, Quotations, Despatch notes, Bills of Quantities, Valuations, Project Information and Bar Coded despatch note standards are supported.
