A Sustainable Construction in Practice roadshow, looking at whole life value decision making and introducing the concept of making decisions based on broader criteria of value rather than just initial captial costs, and of taking account of the needs of a wider range of stakeholders instead of those involved in the immediate decision making process.
The event will be of interest to public and private sector clients, owners, designers, project teams, and contractors (incuding PFI/PPP contractors). Led by a team from TRL, the Roadshow can help to break down existing barriers, improve communication and enable lessons to be learnt from the experience of others. the day long event will consist of presentations on the whole life value concept, case studies demonstrating application of the principles, feedback - question and answer sessions, together with interactive exercises with hands on acquaintance and demonstrated tools.
