OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this course are to introduce participants to the subject of management of good health and safety practice on construction sites by reviewing the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 (HSWA), the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 (MHSWR), the Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1996 (CHSWR), Working at Heights Regulations 2005 and the CDM Regulations.
PROGRAMME
*The implications of statutory regulations on construction sites.
*Site health and safety awareness.
*Accident prevention on site.
*Risk assessments.
*CDM Regulations 1994.

*Understand the relevant legislation and how to comply with statutory duties.
*Develop site health and safety awareness.
*Examine the practical aspects of accident prevention on site and assessment of risk.
