OBJECTIVE

The objective of this course is to provide participants with the necessary preliminary information on how to use the New Engineering Contract (NEC3) on a project. It also seeks to illustrate a completely different approach to the contractual aspects of construction.

*Payment and valuation
*Adjudication and termination

*Understand the development of the New Engineering Contract (NEC3) family of contracts.
*Appreciate the underlying principles of the New Engineering Contract (NEC3).
*Understand the division of risks and be able to recommend appropriate options.
*Be able to complete the contract data required for using the contracts.
*Be able to use the contract for the purposes of site administration.
